TinkerDev is built privacy-first. The short version: everything you work on stays on your machine, and we collect no analytics or telemetry.
Everything you paste into TinkerDev is processed locally on your own device. Your inputs are never uploaded, and the app has no accounts and sends no usage analytics or telemetry.
TinkerDev works offline; the data you paste is never uploaded. There are only two times the app talks to the network, and neither sends your work:
To activate and periodically validate your TinkerDev Pro license key, the app contacts our licensing service. That request carries only your license key and an anonymous device fingerprint — never the data you're working on. The free tools work fully offline.
If you opt in, TinkerDev can check for new versions at launch and download updates — you choose whether to enable this, and you can always update manually instead. An update check fetches a small signed version manifest from our release host; it carries no personal data.
If you buy TinkerDev Pro, the checkout is handled by our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy, who process your payment details under their own privacy policy. We receive only what's needed to issue your license — your email address and order reference.
Your license key is delivered by email through our provider, Resend. We use your email address solely to send that key and to support your purchase.
